Me, my grandfather Knut Lyngvær and my father in our cabin during the 70s. My father loved spending time here.
together
At our cabin with my mother, father and younger brother outside of Bergen during the 80s. We didn’t have a lot of space, nor did we have a shower or a toilet, but we enjoyed the silence and spent a lot of time together as a family.

My father and my little sister Julie. My dad had a lot of passions in his life, probably one of the biggest was to sing in the choir. This image is taken after one of his many concerts.

Another big passion my father had was fishing. No matter the forecast my dad went out fishing whenever he could. He kept fishing until the very end.
proud
My father had one big wish his whole life and that was to by himself a Jaguar. He made that wish come true and he drove around with such pride. My sister inherited the car after he passed away.

In 2013 I was very lucky to go visit my fathers country of birth, Surinam in South America. This was a part of the Norwegian TV-show «Hva har du i bagasjen».

In 2017 my father married his beloved Turid. They had been together for a long time and finally decided to make it offical.
My father became weaker and weaker towards the end. He slept a lot. This image is taken after the wedding reception in 2017.

My sister often visited Haukeland hospital. Our father was rarely hungry and we tried tempting him with different treats.

William, the youngest of my fathers grand children, was a big joy in his life. They spent a lot of time together and became best friends.
